Echocardiography,

Echocardiography, also known as ECHO, is the process of examining and evaluating the internal structure and functions of the heart using sound waves. There are two methods: Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) and transthoracic echocardiography (TTE).


Electrocardiography (EKG or ECG)

It is a fundamental test that records the electrical activity and rhythm of the heart. Electrodes are placed on the surface of the skin, and the electrical signals originating from the heart are displayed graphically by the EKG machine. This test aids in detecting various issues that can occur in the heart muscle, including heart rhythm disorders.

Stress Tests

Stress tests are a technique performed using exercise methods or medications that accelerate heart rate. These tests are used to measure how the heart responds when under stress.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI):

It is a method used to obtain detailed images of the heart and the surrounding tissues using magnetic fields and radio waves. It examines the anatomy, blood flow, function, and size of the heart.

Computed Tomography (CT):

It is an imaging technique that uses X-rays to obtain cross-sectional images of structures related to the heart and the circulatory system.

Cardiac Catheterization and Angiography:

It is a procedure in which a catheter is inserted into the heart to directly visualize the heart and blood vessels. This technique is also known as coronary angiography. Coronary angiography is used to assess blockages and constrictions in the arteries.
